The ladies are at it again...

... but more importantly than that: yesterday was my dad's birthday and I just want to wish him (again) all the best, happiness, good health and, most of all, to continue being such a great, inspiring and confident person! And at that one, who has not lost his humor over the obstacles life has been throwing at him. Love you! ;-)

Another year has passed and it was yet again time for the German Lifeguard Championships. Since my own (mixed) team did not qualify for this year's competition, all our high hopes were on the ladies. And fulfill them they did! They managed to defend their title as best German Masters in Lifeguarding among female teams. That is a big accomplishment and I'm really happy for them. Apart from that, I also participated in the competition, even though this time on the "other side". At least I tried to do my very best with timing the swimmers during the first half of the competition (which would be the swimming part).

Apparently though, our team just didn't need that help, since they comfortably won the overall standings by performing equally well in the pool and on the first aid circuit. All that is left to say for me is: CONGRATS!
