New look, new feel

You wouldn't guess it, but simply just "trying" out a new design for this blog took me hours. Actually, that is not correct. It took me only MINUTES...
...to find a new (what do I say, one??? DOZENS!) template, then I quickly saved the old one (cuz I'm of the cautious bunch of people) and then uploaded several new ones to try them on and see if they fit. Well, they did... more or less. Just like jeans... or shirts... or, uhm, you name it - I'm having a hard time with clothes-shopping-analogies right now. ;-)
However, when I had just settled for a new design, I discovered that MOST of my customized stuff (links and the like) had gone missing in the process. Arggghhhh! And with all the switching back between old and new code the old stuff got messed up quite properly as well. So no going back for me. Instead, I got some valuable extra-time on the computer. Ahhhh, the bliss! But now that I'm finally done with it, this doesn't look bad, either, does it?
But you know me, I'm a feeble mind and I am having a hard time settling on one of these designs... So kindly use the comment function (YES, it does exist!) and let me know how you feel about the new look of this. I can't judge anymore, cuz all that HTML-code is still blurring my vision...
Oh, and don't forget to check the other site out! Just a new look, though nothing new in content (don't complain - my creative juices were sucked out by this template restoration project). ;-)

Alles neu macht der Mai September, wer hätte das gedacht??? Wie ihr seht, habe ich virtuell "mal schnell" die Möbel verrückt.Was eigentlich nur ein fixes Ausprobieren einer - um mal bei dem Vergleich zu bleiben - anderen Wandfarbe und Innendeko sein sollte, zog sich dann jedoch um einiges länger hin als erhofft. Das Hochladen eines neuen Designs ging ratz-fatz, aber leider wurden dabei auch meine ganzen Personalisierungen über Bord geworfen. Na, kein Problem, dachte sich unsere relativ technikaffine Hanna, schließlich wurde vor dem Möbelrücken alles schön gespeichert (falls was schief geht und die neue Innnendeko grauenhaft ausschaut). Gesagt und... nicht getan. Es stellte sich nämlich heraus, dass irgendwie die ganzen Links beim Wieder-Zurückrücken und beim Hin- und Herschalten zwischen verschiedenen HTML-Versionen irgendwo im Äther verloren gingen. Der Weg zurück war also abgeschnitten - blieb nur noch die Flucht nach vorn. Et voilà!

Aber obwohl (oder gerade weil) es einige Zeit gedauert hat, sieht die neue Inneneinrichtung nicht schlecht aus, oder? Kommentare und Stellungnahmen (sowohl intuitiver als auch mehr professioneller Natur von erfahrenen Dekorateuren und Wand-Umgestaltern) sind sehr gern gesehen. Ich bin mir nämlich nicht so ganz sicher - meine Sicht ist immer noch durch den ganzen HTML-Code verschwommen. Mit welchem abstrakten Kram man sich auch in seiner Freizeit so abgibt... da lobe ich mir doch meine Zahlenkolonnen auf Arbeit. ;-)

Ach ja, nicht vergessen, auch das andere Renovierungsobjekt zu inspizieren. Von außen hui, von innen... äh, noch alt. Kommt noch, aber meine kreative Energie ist vom Renovieren aufgebraucht.
