Getting here was a bit of a rocky start - catching a train at 6 am, a longer stop-over in southern bohemia, a train trip that wasn't completely covered with my ticket - but instead planned out by the connection handed to me by the Austrian railways, an add-up fee for said ticket in the range of 28 crowns, which is only a little more than 1 € and finally taking the wrong (non-descript) entrance to the washrooms at the main train station of Prague. I was soo glad that it wasn't rush hour and the few witnesses were kind enough to remain discreet. However, I was greatly relieved to find my hotel room to turn out as imagined. So off into the golden city!
Da hatte ich wohl einen etwas holprigen Start mit Prag. Erst der Zug in aller Herrgottsfrühe, dann ein längerer Zwischenstopp in Südböhmen, eine Weiterfahrt, die zwar meinem ÖBB-Reiseplan, nicht aber meinem ausgestellten Ticket entsprach, eine Nachzahlung von unglaublichen 28 CKR (~ 1 €) und dann noch die peinliche Verwechslung der wenig aussagekräftigen Toiletteneingänge im Prager Hbf. Zum Glück war keine Rush-hour und die wenigen Zeugen angenehm diskret. Und dafür wurde ich dann mit einem sehr schönen Zimmer entschädigt. ;-) Also auf in die goldene Stadt!
