In which I become a rocket

Sunday saw the ending of one of the finest events summery Jena has to offer: the Kulturarena. And what an ending it was! Russkaja rocked the stage with their thrilling mixture of Russian music, Ska and an enormous surplus of positive energy - enough to make the crowd go round in an attempt to get away from an imaginary Traktor ;-), too much, to be able to control the movement of one's limbs and definitely igniting 3000 people as they transformed into human sputniks, readily awaiting blast-off into open space. Only to learn that there's indeed air for breathing there - we just didn't know since authorities do not want us to know. There, I told you! Now go off and tell the world... Or google the band and find out how much fun they actually are.

Russkaja sounds like quite a lift-off! I saw The Wailers (Bob Marley's reggae band) over the weekend and they were awesome. They'll be in Europe soon, check out their tour dates:
