That famous philosopher once said:
"My formula of bliss: a Yes, a No, a straight line, a goal." (Friedrich Nietzsche)
The formula of my blissful weekend? A visit to Fritz Mitte (a GREAT currywurst and fries place!), strolling around the botanical garden, soaking up SUN, SUN and SUN and topping it off with a bike trip that took me all the way from Jena to Gera via the Städtekette, one of Thuringias long distance bike paths.
I covered about 56 km in roughly 4-5 hours. However, since I took a loooong coffee break in Eisenberg, estimating just the time ON the bike is not as easy as one might think. ;-) Although I only left Jena at shortly past 1 p.m., I feel as though I was under the sun the whole day. Oh boy, was it GORGEOUS!!!
But I digress... so I'd rather just show my (hitherto) impressions from this long and sun-filled weekend... and for now, I'll load up on some nutrients and liquids. ME LOVES A GOOD WATERMELON!!!
