PC + despair = head + desk

I get it. There are days, that are great. There are days, that are so-so. And then there are those days when all you can think of is "what the heck?" when you get to introspect, use all remaining human spirit and civility to remain calm and just take things in a relaxed fashion. Except.when.it.comes.to.computers. ARRRGGGHHH!
Ok, so I didn't really slam my head into the desk. But I just spent a WHOLE day with reinstalling my computer after apparently prompting the OS to crash by inadvertently turning the computer OFF, when I actually thought I was turning it ON (overnight virus scan, anyone? You better not forget that your comp will still be on the next morning!). No big problem, you say? I used to naively, unconsciously and much-too-optimistically think so as well. Big mistake, I guess. And it's got nothing to do with a logical flaw on my side. I get it - times and again, experience teaches me that computers and logic just don't form the perfect pair. They do get along, in an unilateral kind of way. Logic wouldn't need computers, but computers wouldn't even be able to function without logic (well, mostly, that is). As it were, sometimes they don't function even if they should (see, logic... no good here).
Anyways, it's back and running. Never mind that I wanted to get a whole bunch of things done today; I love idling around and staring at blue screens. I mean, what beats that??? And even better yet: I have about a dozen programs left to install tomorrow! Now, ain't that sweet? I just can't wait to get started!!! :-x
